Larisa Kruglova crowned new Russian 60 m champ

The first day of the Russian National Indoor Championships in Volgograd
featured six finals. The women`s sprint brought a surprise, as Larisa
Kruglova unexpectedly won in 7,20. Marina Kislova was the fastest coming
out of the semifinals, with a time of 7,23. Kruglova and Yulia Tabakova won
their respective semifinals in a time some 0,06 sec slower than the leader,
both clocking 7,29. Kruglova could not be contained in the final, however.
She claimed the crown while Kislova only managed a 7,30 effort, and Tabakova
had to settle for third in 7,44.
